Shiela Dikshit inaugurates four projects in Delhi
December 24th, 2009 - 2:12 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 24 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Wednesday inaugurated four projects in the Trans-Yamuna area with an aim to provide world-class infrastructure to the city.
Dikshit inaugurated ITO Chungi underpass, Shastri Nagar Pushta flyover, Geeta Colony bridge and Raja Ram Kohli Marg flyover, a statement from the chief minister’s office.
Her son Sandeep Dikshit, an MP from east Delhi, said that agencies like DUAC (Delhi Urban Art Commission) and others must become partners in developmental schemes instead of raising objections.
“It is strange that a number of objections are raised in respect of developmental schemes in under-developed colonies. The public representatives are supposed to ensure more amenities to people and render constructive help in development,” he said.
