Sensex ruling dull in morning trade

Mumbai, Dec 14 (IANS) A benchmark index of Indian equities was ruling dull in morning trade Tuesday.The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 19,746.75 points, was ruling at 19,728.67 points - up 36.89 points or 0.2 percent from its previous close at 19,691.78 points.
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the 50-share S&P CNX Nifty was trading at 5,924.3 points - up 0.28 percent.
Broader markets saw better gains, with the BSE midcap index ruling 1.09 percent up and the BSE smallcap index trading 1.06 percent higher.
