Sensex quiet in early trade

Mumbai, Nov 11 (IANS) A benchmark index of Indian equities Thursday was trading on a flat note in morning trade.
The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 20,930.45 points, was ruling at 20,881.42 points, up 5.71 points or 0.03 percent from its previous close at 20,875.71 points.
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the 50-share S&P CNX Nifty was trading at 6,280.75 points - up 0.08 percent.
Broader markets indices were doing relatively better, with the BSE midcap index ruling 0.47 percent higher and the BSE smallcap index moved up 0.73 percent.
