Sensex lacklustre in opening session

Mumbai, Sep 28 (IANS) A benchmark index of Indian equities Tuesday morning opened on a flat note.
The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), opened at 20,114.37 points, and in five minutes was ruling at 20,138.03 points, up 20.65 points or 0.1 percent from its previous close at 20,117.38 points.
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the 50-share S&P CNX Nifty was ruling at 6,039.8 points, up 0.07 percent.
Broader markets were in the positive. The BSE midcap was trading 0.44 percent up and the BSE smallcap index 0.45 percent higher.
