Sensex dull in early trade

Mumbai, Feb 10 (IANS) A benchmark index for Indian equities markets Thursday was in a slump in early trade.The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 17,603.29 points, was ruling at 17,565.69 points, down 27.08 points or 0.15 percent from its previous close at 17,592.77 points.
The 50-scrip S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was trading 0.06 percent lower at 5,256.6 points.
Broader markets were also in the red, with the BSE midcap index down 0.37 percent and the BSE small cap index trading 0.25 percent lower.
