Mumbai, Feb 19 (IANS) Indian equities markets closed marginally in the green Thursday with a key index closing a little above Wednesday’s closing figure.
The 30-scrip Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index (Sensex), which opened at 9,034.9 points, shut shop at 9,042.63 points, 27.45 points or 0.3 percent up from its previous close.
At the same time, the S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was at 2,789.35 points, 0.48 percent higher than its last close.
However, the BSE midcap index was 0.21 percent lower, while the BSE smallcap index was down 0.37 percent.
