Sea Harrier tyre burst hits Goa airport flights
January 23rd, 2012 - 10:06 pm ICT by IANSPanaji, Jan 23 (IANS) Air traffic at Goa’s Dabolim airport was disrupted for nearly an hour Monday evening after a tyre of an Indian Navy Sea Harrier jet burst, an official said.
An airport official said air traffic was thrown haywire after the fighter jet’s tyre burst after landing at 5.30 p.m.
“It was only a tyre burst. No one was injured or at risk. Air traffic has resumed to normalcy now after the Harrier was towed away. Flights had to be rescheduled for an hour,” the official said.
