Saudi auto finance firm selects Nucleus Software product
September 13th, 2011 - 8:16 pm ICT by IANSBangalore, Sep 13 (IANS) Saudi Arabia’s auto finance major Aqsat International Trading has selected software products and services of Nucleus Software Exports Ltd for automating its business operations and reduce turn-around time, the Indian IT firm said Tuesday.
“Aqsat will use our flagship software product FinnOne suite comprising customer acquisition system, loan management system, collections & delinquency management, securitisation, power pay, document management system and fleet finance to automate its business operations and reduce turn-around time,” Nucleus chief executive Vishnu R. Dusad said in a statement here.
Noting that the auto industry offers a great opportunity for the company’s products and its growth strategy, Dusad said the Aqsat deal would help Nucleus to penetrate the Saudi market and strengthen its position.
“Implementing a next-generation complete banking suite like FinnOne will give Aqsat an edge in offering better products and services to its customers and compete with other firms in the segment,” Dusad said.
The Jeddah-based Aqsat provides Shariah-compliant financing solutions complemented by experts in financing. It is set to equip its offices at BMW and Hyundai showrooms in the city with the IT infrastructure provided by Nucleus and expand product implementation in all branches across the Saudi kingdom.
“As owning an auto vehicle has become a necessity, we provide loans and other financial aid to customers for owning or renting vehicles. After evaluating FinnOne across geographies, we selected Nucleus to manage our clients and monetary operations,” Aqsat executive general manager Abbas Mohammed Al-Nahdi said.
