SAIL Q2 net profit declines 54.6 percent
November 3rd, 2011 - 5:35 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 3 (IANS) State-owned Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Thursday reported a 54.6 percent decline in net profit at Rs.494.64 crore for the quarter ended Sep 30 against Rs.1,090 crore during the like period of the previous financial year.
The total income stood at Rs.11,469.88 crore, up 3 percent during the quarter under review as against Rs.11,122.82 crore during like period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange the shares of the company were 2.71 percent low to trade at Rs.109.60.
