Sabyasachi Patra is new MAIT executive director
December 6th, 2011 - 6:02 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS) Hardware manufacturers’ association for information technology (MAIT) Tuesday appointed Sabyasachi Patra as its executive director.
Patra succeeds Ashwini Aggarwal. He will help the association in implementing new initiatives for the industry, MAIT said in a statement.
“With major thrust on manufacturing of IT hardware and electronics products and electronic delivery of services under e-governance, the new ED will help in shaping MAIT agenda and rolling out several new initiatives to support those purposes,” said MAIT president Alok Bharadwaj.
MAIT consists of stake-holders in domestic IT industry comprising of hardware manufacturers, vendors, research and development (R&D;) and associated services sectors.
