Rural areas should get benefit of health, education: PM

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS) Rural areas must get the “benefit of health and education”, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said here Friday.
Speaking at the HT Leadership Summit, Manmohan Singh said “our concern is to strengthen primary healthcare in rural areas”.
Stressing that rural areas should get the benefit of health and education, he hoped “health insurance becomes a viable instrument for providing healthcare” for all, including the poor.
