Revised petrol prices in four metros
May 23rd, 2012 - 9:11 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 23 (IANS) Petrol prices will rise between Rs.7.54 and Rs.7.98 in the four metros following a base price hike of Rs.6.28 per litre exclusive of taxes, effective midnight, it was announced here Wednesday.
Revised petrol prices in four metros:
New Delhi: Current Price: Rs.65.64; Revised Price: Rs.73.18; Difference: Rs.7.54
Mumbai: Current Price: Rs.70.66; Revised Price: Rs.78.57; Difference: Rs.7.91
Kolkata: Current Price: Rs.70.03; Revised Price: Rs.77.88; Difference: Rs.7.85
Chennai: Current Price: Rs.69.55; Revised Price: Rs.77.53; Difference: Rs.7.98
Among the taxes levied is sales tax, which varies between 15 percent and 33 percent in various states.
