Reliance launches 3G services in Punjab
January 13th, 2011 - 9:46 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Jan 13 (IANS) Leading telecom service provider Reliance Communications (RCOM) Thursday launched its 3G services in Punjab.According to RCOM officials, 3G services will initially be made available to customers in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala and Bhatinda cities.
“The launch of Reliance 3G is an integral part of our vision 2015 of creating a wire-free Punjab built upon the affordable 3G for all platform,” said Sabyasachi Chakraborty, circle head - wireless business, RCOM (Punjab).
“Personalization of services, simplification of tariffs and a content rich portfolio will enable Reliance customers to get better 3G experience in Punjab. We will offer the widest bouquet of cutting edge services including video calling, mobile TV and video streaming,” he said.
RCOM has rolled out 3G services in a record time of around 100 days of receiving 3G spectrum, said company officials.
