Reliance Industries completes KG-D6 block’s design capacity assessment
December 28th, 2009 - 10:35 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 28 (IANS) Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Ltd announced Monday that it completed the assessment of design capacity of gas production facilities at D6 block in Krishna Godavari basin last week.
“Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) announces that it has successfully carried out an assessment of the design capacity of the KG D6 deepwater gas production facilities,” according to a company press release released Monday.
“A flow rate of 80 million standard cubic meters was achieved through the KG-D6 facilities and delivered to RGTIL (Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd)’s
East West Pipeline,” it added.
Currently, Reliance is producing 60 million standard cubic metres of gas.
Since starting production in April 2009, the D6 block has produced over 8.5 billion cubic metres of gas.
