Radhakrishnan is chairman of software body
June 1st, 2011 - 4:40 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, June 1 (IANS) Descon Ltd managing director S. Radhakrishnan has become the chairman of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).
A statement Wednesday said he had been elected unanimously by the council’s Committee of Administration for two years. Radhakrishnan is a former president of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“Indian IT sector has to move up in the value chain to stay ahead in the emerging competition unleashed by countries like China and the Philippines,” Radhakrishnan said.
