R-Com launches new mobile tariff plan (Business Capsule)

Mumbai, Oct 5 (IANS) The Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (R-Com) Monday announced new mobile tariff plan here - all calls at 50 paise - effective from Tuesday.
Under the new “Simply Reliance Plan” scheme, consumers need to pay 50 paise per minute for all incoming, outgoing, long distance incoming and outgoing calls while roaming.
It will be available on both CDMA and GSM platforms for both prepaid and post-paid users.

India to participate in South-South cooperation
New Delhi: Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said India would actively participate in the South-South Experience Exchange Facility - a platform for developing countries to share experiences in socio-economic development.
Addressing an event in Istanbul, Mukherjee Sunday night said he hoped that donor countries would continue to support the facility.

Milestone invests Rs.110 crore in residential project
Kolkata: Milestone Real Estate Fund has invested Rs.110 crore to develop a residential project here.
Milestone and Godrej Properties will jointly develop this three-million square feet project.
“This project being in the mid-segment housing sector holds great promise and value for home buyers,” Ved Prakash Arya, chief executive officer and managing director of Milestone Group, said in a statement.

Parle revamps Krackjack brand
Kolkata: Biscuit and confectionary manufacturer Parle Products Ltd has revamped its Krackjack brand.
The company has launched a pan-India campaign for the revamped brand and has also changed the logo, packaging of the product.
“The objective of the brand revamp is to strengthen the brand position and set up a new image for the brand,” said Bhavin Panchamia, product manager of Krackjack, Parle.

Gitanjali Gems is ’star trading house’
New Delhi: Gitanjali Gems has been recognised as a “star trading house” by the commerce and industry ministry on account of its export performance.
In a regulatory statement, Gitanjali Gems said it has also been designated as a “nominated agency” for the direct import of gold, silver and other precious metals.
