Probe ordered into illegally occupied houses in Jharkhand
April 19th, 2011 - 7:17 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, April 19 (IANS) The Jharkhand High Court Tuesday ordered a CBI probe into the illegal occupation of houses by various Public Sector Units (PSU) in Jharkhand
A division bench of Chief Justice Bhagwati Prasad and Justice P. Tatia ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation to submit a report on the occupation of houses by PSUs like Central Coalfield Limited (CCL), Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) and others.
The CBI will probe the number of people living illegally in PSU houses and the role of the PSU managements in the matter.
