Prince Andrew to interact with Mumbai businessmen
March 6th, 2010 - 6:43 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, March 6 (IANS) Prince Andrew, the fourth in line to the British throne, will arrive here on a day’s visit March 9 and meet prominent city based businessmen at the start of his visit to India, an official statement said Saturday.
According to a statement issued here by the British Deputy High Commission, Prince Andrew is coming to India as Britain’s special representative for international trade and investment.
In Mumbai, Prince Andrew will meet industrialists Anand Mahindra and Shashi Ruia.
He will also go to the H.R. College and meet Principal Indu Shahani as well as students who are engaged in Britain-India education initiatives.
He will also visit the Tata Motors and Jaguar-Land Rover showroom.
He is also scheduled to meet the representatives of Quantel, a British company specializing in broadcast equipment and three-dimension technology, as also Indian investors in Britain and leading business personalities.
He will later go to New Delhi and Kolkata.
