Power supply to some south Delhi areas to be affected
July 19th, 2010 - 11:58 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 19 (IANS) Power supply to some south Delhi areas will be affected Tuesday and Wednesday due to work to connect the new cables and feeders to the grid substation, power distribution company BSES said Monday.
“Electricity will be affected in Aya Nagar, DLF Chatterpur, Gadaipur and Jonapur, Satbari, Asola, Mangla Puri, Ghitorni, Mandi, Sultanpur and adjoining areas July 20 and 21 between 10 a.m and 1 p.m.,” a statement from the company said.
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is currently engaged in widening the Mehrauli-Gurgaon (MG) road, due to which BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) is shifting the power distribution network, it said.
