Power supply disrupted in south Delhi
August 31st, 2010 - 12:12 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 30 (IANS) Several areas of south Delhi were hit by a major power breakdown Monday evening as two big transformers at the Okhla sub-station are being repaired, an official said.
According to a discom spokesperson, two transformers of 100 MVA capacity and another of 50 MVA are not working since Aug 17, due to which there are power disruption complaints in parts of south Delhi.
The power disruption was continuing as latest reports came in late in the night.
When contacted, a BSES official said they had nothing to do with the outage issue in south Delhi.
