Power Grid net profit jumps 78 percent
July 29th, 2009 - 8:49 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, July 29 (IANS) State-run electricity grid operator Power Grid Corp’s net profit rose 78.81 percent to Rs.546.61 crore in the first quarter this fiscal from Rs.305.69 crore in the like period last year.
Total income of the company grew 24.9 percent to Rs.1,822.32 crore for the quarter ended June 30 from Rs.1,458.49 crore a year ago.
