New Delhi, Jan 24 (IANS) A finance company has moved the Delhi High Court seeking a CBI probe into the theft from the ministry of corporate affairs of documents related to a case involving a Delhi-based hotelier, a lawyer said Tuesday.
VLS Finance, a non-banking finance company, in its plea filed Monday, alleged the documents related to hotelier S.P. Gupta. It alleged that a police case against Gupta was withdrawn allegedly at the behest of Home Minister P. Chidambaram, his former lawyer.
