Passengers protest cancellation of GoAir flight
May 4th, 2010 - 11:04 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 4 (IANS) Passengers bound for Kochi by the GoAir flight Tuesday protested at the Indira Gandhi Airport here after the flight was cancelled due to operational problems.
Around 20 passengers were stranded after the flight scheduled to take off at 1.35 p.m. was cancelled, Zakir Hussain, one of the passengers, told IANS.
He claimed no alternative arrangements were made by the airline to help the stranded passengers and they were informed about the technical problem only after they had checked in. Passengers said that the airline told them the flight will be arranged at the same time Wednesday.
Protesting the airline’s attitude, the passengers have decided to stay in the lounge of the airport.
