Oriental Bank of Commerce Q4 net rises 75 percent
April 29th, 2010 - 4:09 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 29 (IANS) The Oriental Bank of Commerce Thursday said its net profit rose 75.33 percent to Rs.317.04 crore in the fourth (January-March) quarter ended March 31, compared to Rs.180.82 crore in the same period a year ago.
The bank’s total income jumped 9.72 percent to Rs.2,950.90 crore, from Rs.2,689.38 crore in the corresponding period the previous year.
The public sector lender’s net profit for the year ended March 31, 2010 stood at Rs.1,134.68 crore as against Rs.890.42 crore in the previous fiscal, an increase of 27.43 percent.
The total income moved up by 15.4 percent to Rs.11,457.17 crore from Rs.9,927.79 crore in 2008-09.
The bank’s board has proposed a 91 percent dividend for the last fiscal.
