OPEC oil price rises to $40.91
January 26th, 2009 - 5:43 pm ICT by IANSVienna, Jan 26 (DPA) The price for oil produced by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued to gain at the end of last week, rising to $40.91, the cartel announced Monday.One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude was up $0.60 Friday, compared with the previous day.
The Vienna-based organisation calculates an average price of 12 brands produced by its members.
