New York Times launches news supplement in Bosnia and El Salvador

NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – The New York Times announced on Monday the launching of its international news supplement in Dnevni Avaz in Bosnia and La Prensa Gráfica in El Salvador.

The weekly section in Bosnia will be published in English while the one in El Salvador will be in Spanish, providing several articles from The New York Times.

“We are excited to collaborate with Dnevni Avaz and La Prensa Gráfica and welcome them to the international weekly community,” said Gloria Brown Anderson, vice president of international editorial development, The New York Times News Services. “We are honored to work with two highly regarded publications that readers have come to trust for quality journalism.”

The two publications join a global network of newspapers in 29 countries that carry The New York Times international weekly, which was first introduced in 2002.
