New head for insurer’s lobby
November 14th, 2011 - 9:44 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Nov 14 (IANS) Oriental Insurance Company Ltd’s general manager A.K. Bhandari Monday took over as the new chief executive of public sector non-life insurer’s lobby General Insurers’ (Public Sector) Association of India (GIPSA).
“I have just taken over so I don’t have anything to say on the agenda ahead,” Bhandari told IANS on phone.
The member companies, in their meeting in October, decided to elect only a general manager-rank person as the GIPSA head.
Bhandari’s predecessor A.K. Singhal will continue with the body as its senior vice president.
