Pune, March 14 (IANS) A new concept in men’s wear has been introduced by a company here. A customer can try on a shirt that fits and then choose the design from a catalogue. The shirt gets delivered at the doorstep within 24 hours, for 30 per cent less price than a branded shirt.

Zerostock Retail Private Ltd, that is opening five new outlets in Pune, claims this as the first of its kind business model.

Ashok Mayya, CEO, said: “The idea is have zero stock at the point of sale yet address customer needs by providing largest range of outfits.”

The company is planning to have 30 exclusive outlets in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Jaipur and Kolkata by the end of this month.

He said that by having a warehouse away from the point of sale, the company would be saving on the store costs and pass on the benefit to the customers.
