NASL bags euro 20 mn order from Nalco
January 8th, 2011 - 4:40 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Jan 8 (IANS) NTPC ALSTOM Power Services Pvt Ltd (NASL) Saturday said it has bagged an order worth euro 20 million from the National Aluminium Company (Nalco).”NASL, a joint venture company of Alstom Group and NTPC, has been awarded a contract worth approximately euro 20 million from Nalco to retrofit the electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) at five units of its captive power plant in Angul, Orissa,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
According to the company, its scope of work would be Rs.74.16 crore (euro 12.4 million) in the bagged order.
ESP is an air cleaner that removes fine particles from air or gas by using electrostatic charge.
