“Our industrial sourcing business achieved a transaction value of Rs.600 crore in 2009-10 and expects it to touch Rs.900 crore in 2010-11 considering a CAGR (compounded annual growth rate) of 50 percent,” managing director Viresh Oberoi said, announcing the launch of an e-procurement portal, greensourcing.in.
The portal would help corporates procure energy-efficient products for industrial and office use and negotiate prices for them, he said.
Oberoi expects 10 percent of the targeted Rs.900 crore business to come from selling environment-friendly products.
