Houston Executive Mar 13 (Pen Men at Work): The Houston (Texas) executive, who was reported missing in New Orleans, has been identified. Douglas Shantz’s dead body was found beneath a dock in New Orleans on Friday on March 12th. Examiners discovered the carcass in close proximity to the New Orleans Steamboat Company dock in the vicinity of their steamboat, The Natchez. The personnel of the New Orleans Police divulged the news that the dead body was located around 1:20 pm and the garments on the corpse coordinated with the depiction of Shantz.

After gazing at the security recording at the company, what was revealed and displayed was that Shantz had scaled a constrained area fence and the video recording illustrated that no one had come back. He had, for the last time, been seen in the 500 block of Bourbon Street. Douglas Shantz was an executive, in the Houston zone, of an energy company of Sequent Energy Management and had been in New Orleans to interact with the other energy executives. He was, for the last time, seen to be present at a bar in the French Quarter and the other individuals mentioned that he hung around at the bar. Video footage outside of Razoo Bar and Patio displayed that he left at 2 am.

Shantz had been staying at a hotel with other executives and his daughter had reported him as having gone astray when he didn’t come back to Houston on Friday morning. Concerned, she made the New Orleans Police vigilant by informing them. On Friday afternoon, his body was recovered.
