Metro services to be curtailed on Holi
February 25th, 2010 - 3:46 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS) Services of the Delhi Metro will be cutrailed for Holi festival Monday, an official said Thursday.
All services on the four Metro lines that connect various parts of the national capital — Dilshad Garden to Rithala, Jahangirpuri to Central Secretariat, Noida City Centre to Dwarka Sec-9 and Anand Vihar to Yamuna Bank — will start at 2 p.m., Delhi Metro said in a statement.
“Metro train services will thus start at 2 p.m and will continue normally thereafter,” Delhi Metro spokesperson Anuj Dayal said.
Dayal added that the metro feeder bus services that ferry commuters to and from stations will not be available for the entire day Monday.
The Delhi Metro records an average ridership of 950,000 per day.
