The fast food chain is planning to revamp a number of its stores in UK and the Griffiths Way restaurant is one of them. The restaurant will be given a thorough overhaul. The exterior and interior of the restaurant will be given a facelift. The company also plans to create a lot of vacancies throughout UK for several of its chains. As per the data released by the company, near about 5000 new workers would be recruited all over the UK.

The revamp will not only focus on the aesthetic and visual aspects of the restaurant. The restaurant has an eye on the needs of the customers who communicate through the internet even when they are on the move. For catering to the needs of the net addicted customers McDonalds has plans to install Wi-Fi access point in the restaurant as well. The service will be offered to the customers for free. It also has plans to make relaxation rooms for the employees when they get third with workload. The menu will also be changed to an extent to adapt to the changing trend of the times.

McDonald’s chief operations officer Richard Forte said in his statement that the revamp is being done for reaching the long term goals. However, he made it clear that no change will be made to the quality maintained at the restaurant. He is confident that the changes in menu and other aspects will be appreciated by the regular customers and win applauds from the new ones.
