MCD suspends drive against illegal hotels in Paharganj
November 24th, 2010 - 9:57 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Wednesday said it has temporarily halted for 10 days its sealing action against illegal guest houses and hotels in Paharganj area of central Delhi.
The MCD said the decision was taken following hotel owners’ request seeking time to submit the necessary documents.
MCD Commissioner K.S. Mehra informed that the hotel owners have been given 10 days to comply with the requirements of the show cause notice issued to them.
