Mumbai, July 14 (IANS) The Indian equities market was trading with loss at the early trade Monday following weak global cues. The 30-share benchmark sensitive index of Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a loss of 109.51 points at 13,360.34 points. Ten minutes into the trade, the sensex was trading at 13,296.87 with a loss of 172.98 points or 1.28 percent.
At the same time, S&P Nifty of National Stock Exchange was trading at 4,025.75 points with a loss of 23.25 points or 0.57 percent compared to its last close.
The market breadth was negative. On BSE, 446 shares advanced compared to 919 that declined and 21 that remained unchanged.
Tata Motors, Tata Steel, ONGC were among the major gainers while Ranbaxy labs, Infosys, Satyam were among the major losers at the initial trade.
Asian markets were trading lower.
