Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) The Indian equities market was trading flat at the early trade Friday. The 30-share benchmark sensitive index of Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a loss of 105 points at 14,032.06 points. Ten minutes into the trade, the sensex was trading at 13,866.55 with a loss of 59.69 points or 0.43 percent.
At the same time, S&P Nifty of National Stock Exchange was trading at 4,143.75 points with a loss of 18.45 points or 0.44 percent compared to its last close.
The market breadth was positive. On BSE, 671 shares advanced compared to 590 that declined and 40 that remained unchanged.
Tata Motors, Hindalco, Ambuja cements were among the major gainers while Satyam computers, TCS, Jaiprakash Associate were among the major losers at the initial trade.
Asian markets were trading higher.
