Kolkata, Oct 11 (IANS) Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee Monday released a documentary film to generate awareness about the problems caused to passengers due to frequent obstruction of railway tracks.
The documentary, in Bengali and Hindi, has been produced by Bengali actor Ranjit Mallick. It would be shown across the country.
The Eastern Railway and South Eastern Railway sought the documentary after realizing the extent of protests that end up distrupting train traffic.
The minister also flagged off four new trains on the occasion.
