Kuala Lumpur, June 26 (DPA) Two pilots were seriously injured when the private light aircraft they were flying crashed into the compound of a home Thursday in Malaysia’s northern Perak state. The two-seater Eagle 150B training aircraft narrowly missed the walls of the home when it crashed in the noon incident, the official Bernama news agency reported.
Trainee pilot Ahmad Tarmezee Ahmad Lotpi, 23, and flight instructor Mohamad Faizal Kamaruddin, 37, suffered serious injuries and were admitted to a hospital.
The home owner Indran Sagaran said his two children and their aunt were in the home at the time of the accident, the report said.
The police said they have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
