Malaysia, UAE vow to strengthen ties
October 19th, 2010 - 1:10 am ICT by IANSKuala Lumpur, Oct 18 (IANS/WAM) Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates Monday vowed to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economy, tourism and investment.
At a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak here, visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his country’s keenness to improve relations and develop cooperation with Malaysia in various avenues of common interest.
During the meeting, the leaders also reviewed areas of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education.
