Luminous Teleinfra to set up plant in Himachal Pradesh
November 13th, 2008 - 9:13 pm ICT by IANSShimla, Nov 13 (IANS) Luminous Teleinfra, part of the Delhi-based SAR Group, Thursday announced it will set up a plant in Himachal Pradesh with an investment of Rs.1.5 billion for producing telecom batteries, power management units and conversion devices.”We will be having battery manufacturing capacity of one billion amperes per hour and power management devices with a capacity of 50,000 units per annum in our Himachal plant. It will be set up at Una town,” Luminous Teleinfra director Paresh Pradhan said.
From this unit, the company targets a turnover of Rs.4-5 billion by 2009-10.
