LIC Housing Finance profit up 37 percent in Q2
October 14th, 2010 - 5:49 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Oct 14 (IANS) LIC Housing Finance, an arm of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Thursday reported a 36.76 percent increase its second quarter profit.
The company posted a net profit after tax of Rs.234.20 crore for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2010 as compared to Rs.171.24 crore during the same quarter last year, LIC Housing Fiance said in a statement.
Its total income increased to Rs.1,107.44 crore in the second quarter of fiscal 2010-11 from Rs.839.07 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
In the first half of this fiscal, LIC Housing Finance net profit rose to Rs.446.22 crore from Rs.295.08 crore last year.
