L&T; Construction bags Rs.1,015 crore quarterly order
September 19th, 2011 - 5:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS) Engineering and constructions major Larsen and Toubro (L&T;) Monday said its construction division — L&T; Construction — had bagged orders worth Rs.1,015 crore during the second quarter of the current financial year.
“In the commercial buildings segment, the company secured new orders valued at Rs.692 crore from reputed clients for the development of IT campuses, and for the construction of a commercial establishment,” it said in a regulatory filing.
The orders which the company won in the residential buildings segments for the construction of a residential tower and additional orders from on-going projects in the factories segment are worth Rs.323 crore.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange the shares of the company were 2.30 percent lower to trade at Rs.1,572.55.
