Kochi IT park sets up helpline
September 23rd, 2011 - 7:41 pm ICT by IANSKochi, Sep 23 (IANS) In the wake of reports that some training firms were guaranteeing employment at Infopark in return for pursuing their courses, the IT park here has launched a helpline for job seekers.
Any job applicant can enquire about companies advertising for jobs or training by calling at 0484-2415217 and dialling extension 110 which will connect to the assistant manager of marketing.
“Often, job seekers are not in a position to know if training and recruitments are genuine and whether the companies exist in Infopark. This will ensure that people get an opportunity to check on the companies in Infopark,” said Infopark CEO Gigo Joseph in a statement.
Presently, Infotech has 120 companies which employ 13,500 professionals.
