Kingfisher Ultra launched in Delhi
July 12th, 2010 - 8:21 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 12 (IANS) United Breweries, makers of the largest selling beer brands in the country, launched its Kingfisher Ultra beer in the national capital market Monday.
Kingfisher Ultra would be available in two sizes. A 650 ml beer bottle is priced at Rs.90 and a 330 ml at Rs. 50.
Kingfisher Ultra, the Vijay Mallya-promoted company said, is created for the young achievers who pride themselves on their taste. The beer is packaged in a distinctive embossed bottle with a ring pull crown.
“New Delhi is a very significant market for the brand. We are confident Kingfisher Ultra will soon top the list of preferred beer brands in the capital and live up to Kingfisher’s promise of bringing in the good times,” said Samar S. Sheikhawat, senior vice president-marketing.
The brand was launched in September 2009, is available in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Puducherry.
