In Broadmoor’’s version of TV show Britain’’s Got Talent, notorious rapists and murderers have been invited to perform.
Posters for the contest have been stuck around the hospital featuring a logo based on the TV show’’s and the line, Show us your skills and talents.
Participants must agree to the rules such as no swearing and: No arguing with the judges! The judges” decision is final.
Criminals would have a go at murdering popular songs and perhaps do some jail-break dancing.
A spokesperson for Broadmoor said the competition was a way of getting patients to mingle.
“One of the risks for people with mental illnesses is that they go into themselves and do not mix with people. This competition is a way of getting them to go out and meet people,” News of the World quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
