Kerala Tourism promo wins prestigious award
May 12th, 2011 - 7:58 pm ICT by IANSThiruvananthapuram, May 12 (IANS) “Your Moment Is Waiting”, the latest advertisement of Kerala’s tourism promotion department, has won an award at the prestigious New York Festivals, an official said.
The commercial has won the Bronze World Medal for cinematography, in addition to three finalist certificates for travel advertising, film direction and music score at the coveted event that celebrates the world’s best in advertising every year.
Conceptualised and created by Kerala-based Stark Communications, “Your Moment Is Waiting” was the only TV/cinema advertisement from India to win an award at the New York Festivals this year.
“The recognition is very satisfying as it proves right our belief that every travel destination needs to constantly reinvent itself to stay relevant and meaningful to the evolving traveller,” Kerala Tourism secretary V. Venu said.
