Kentuckiana Curb to expand in Louisville, creating 50 jobs

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY (BNO NEWS) – Kentuckiana Curb will expand its operations in Louisville, Kentucky, creating 50 jobs in a $2.5 million investment, Governor Steve Beshear and Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson announced on Tuesday.

Kentuckiana Curb is a manufacturer various metal products and specializes in metal roof components. It is a subsidiary of Kentuckiana Comfort Center and plans to add 20,000 square feet to the current 90,000 square-foot facility for the manufacture of high-efficiency commercial HVAC systems.

“Kentucky is pleased to play a vital role in helping our existing industries grow and succeed and will continue to partner with companies such as Kentuckiana Curb for years to come,” Governor Beshear said.

“This expansion will bring new jobs to our city, even in the midst of a recession, because the company is planning for the future,” Mayor Abramson said.

Kentuckiana Curb was awarded tax incentives up to $1,125,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. This incentive can be earned over a 10 year period through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments.
