mark1 New York, Aug 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a bitter irony the woman who alleged that HP CEO Mark Hurd had engaged in inappropriate conduct with her, now says that she didn’t want him to lose his job over the disclosures.

It may be recalled that Jodie Fisher had alleged that Mark Hurd was sexually harassing her, and so in the wake of such acrimonious allegations Mark Hurd had no option but to step down from his duties as the top man for the Hewlett-Packard company.

Later HP’s board had also said that Mark Hurd had never violated ‘HP’s sexual harassment policy’. Though they did add that the former CEO had violated the policies of HP’s business conduct.

In fact Jodie had also said that they “never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship.” She also added that she is sad that he lost his job, because of her. Mark Hurd submitted his resignation to the company’s board on Friday and it has also been accepted by the company’s board of directors. Jodie Fisher said, “That was never my intention.” It isn’t clear what was her intention behind the allegations if she is feeling sad about Mark Hurd’s resignation.
