Jindal SAW bags orders worth Rs.1,000 crore
November 24th, 2011 - 1:31 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 24 (IANS) Oil and gas pipeline solutions major Jindal SAW Thursday said it has bagged orders worth Rs.1,000 crore ($190 million) for supplying large diameter pipes and ductile iron pipes for the export market.
“Jindal SAW Ltd. announces the receipt of letter of award aggregating to app. Rs.1,000 crore for supply of large diameter pipes (L Saw Pipes) and ductile iron pipes for various export markets,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
These orders are to be executed gradually in the next 12 months.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company were 0.62 percent lower to trade at Rs.112.70.
