Jetlite to start new flights from Ahmedabad
November 7th, 2011 - 5:52 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Nov 7 (IANS) Budget carrier JetLite Monday said it would introduce new daily flights from Ahmedabad to five cities from Nov 15.
“We are confident that these additional services will prove immensely popular with our guests,” Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer, Jet Airways, said in a statement.
According to Raghavan, the move is in line to cater to the increased traffic movement to and from the city.
“With the increased flow of tourist and business traffic to and from Ahmedabad, along with the growing demand for connectivity with metros and cities, we are pleased to provide direct connections,” Raghavan said.
The company will operate direct flights to Bangalore and New Delhi, while Coimbatore, Kolkata and Lucknow services will be operated on connecting flights.
